Vince, Renee
and Henry have been best of friends since childhood… a friendship that
over time turned them into partners in crime. But now they've grown up
and gone their separate ways, albeit not necessarily by choice; Renee
into a convent, Vince to jail and Henry on the straight & narrow.
Fast forward
2 years and Vince is a free man, ready to put into action his next ‘failsafe'
money making scam. A hurricane in the South Pacific has set his imagination
wild… he imagines that this hurricane would have destroyed many things,
including a hospital perhaps, a hospital run by a selfless Swiss nurse
named Angel Hope, a pretty young thing with a heart of gold, a modern
day Mother Theresa only much younger and sexier…
Returning home,
Vince figures that he'll use his old mate Henry's new legitimate job to
raise some front-money for a modest ‘Save Angel Hope' campaign. With the
noted generosity of the Swiss, it should be a slam-dunk scam. But Henry
isn't keen - his life is finally above board, he's out of Vince's shadow
and what's more, he has fallen in love, with his boss Sonia. Things aren't
running quite as smoothly for Sonia though, her biggest client, Oscar
Kurz, is an elected official trying desperately to account for millions
in missing campaign contributions. This is where Vince's plan comes into
action… surely things would look a whole lot better if it turned out the
contributions had gone to a worthy cause. A cause, perhaps, like SAVE
ANGEL HOPE!
There's just
one problem. No Angel Hope. So Vince calls upon Renee and persuades her
to masquerade as the saintly nurse. Does Renee think Vince is on the level?
Not for a minute. But if there's money to be raised, perhaps she can outwit
Vince and direct it to a worthy cause. Besides, there's something about
Vince that stirs Renee's heart and makes her question her vows.
Thus Angel Hope
is born and she soon becomes a national sensation. With the money pouring
in, all that remains is for Vince to somehow divert the funds to his own
account… avoiding Renee's wrath and not getting caught by the cops.
